John is survived by his wife Doreen; his sons Jeremy and his wife Caitlin, Joshua and his partner Torrie Robinson, Justin, Jarred and his daughter Shannon and her partner Mark Petrou; his sister Kathy Gallagher Ernet; nephew Edward J. John was born November 6, 1928 in Cleveland, the only child to Frank and Nellie (nee O'Donnell) Gallagher, Irish immigrants who came to the United States early in the last century.
